7. Restricted Activities
Prohibited Vehicle Uses
- Usage of the vehicle for illegal activities is strictly prohibited. This includes racing, rallying, off-roading, or any dangerous driving practices. Transporting hazardous materials is not allowed. Sub-letting the vehicle or permitting unauthorized drivers is forbidden. Operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs is unacceptable. The vehicle should not be used for purposes it was not designed for, nor should passenger or weight limits be exceeded. Driving beyond the agreed geographical limits requires prior authorization.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental cancellation and extra fees.
8. Liability Restrictions
To the fullest extent allowed by English and Welsh law, Car Hire Chester-le-Street will not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business related to your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the rental amount paid in the previous 12 months.
